An informal gathering of classic, vintage cars and motorcycles held in Stony Stratford town centre .
We set off at 8am, a beautiful sunny morning although quite windy.
A cruise down the A5 at a steady 50mph in the MG Magnette.
Abby was pleased to be with us, she soon dropped off to sleep stretched out on the back seat.
Arriving at 9am the town high street was already fully parked up. Luckily we were parked in the courtyard with many others.
Firstly we began viewing the cars parked either side of the high street.
Many shops and cafés were open (good for the ladies!!!).
Graham managed to find a matching tea plate, cup and saucer in a charity shop to display in the Magnette. This was admired by many.
About an hour later after a brew up Nicky and Abby headed off for a walk around the park by the river.
A food festival and craft stalls were on display.
Graham began his 2nd tour, admiring the many different makes of classic/modern cars and motorbikes.
The sun shone all the time we were there, encouraging lots people to enjoy a day out, many talking to Graham about our Ratae Run.
All being well we will return on New year’s day 2026 for their next event.
Hope some of you will join us as we highly recommend a visit.
Graham, Nicky and Abby.
