About. Come and join us on a trip to the Pride of Longbridge. It was first held in 2006, marking the first anniversary of the collapse of MG Rover in April 2005. What began as a small gathering of former workers and enthusiasts has since grown into one of the UK’s most important community motoring events. Every year, it brings together owners, fans, and families to pay tribute to the legacy of Longbridge-built vehicles, from Austins and Rovers to MGs and Minis.

if the club wants park together you MUST book a place other wise you will be placed in a general area . if not booking a group you can just turn up and get will be parked but may not be together though if arriving same you may in small numbers as more than one way in normally and may get mixed . we have done most of these over the years in about 6 different cars , any car with a Longbridge connection is welcome any MG,Rover BMC/BL stuff
they are not yet planning the parking but joining the facbook page would be useful as a lot is done on there . bev and i have taken 2 cars before. we have mostly gone with groups from a few to about 140 and the event can have 1500 cars though not normally that big . in the pat some food ,toilets are available . what is happening this time has not been said yet . Gemma Cartright is the main person behind it . we intend to go and if the club goes we can join you . the event has cars from across the uk and euro land and a mix of classic cars and current MGs
