Ratae Run 2026

Ratae Run 2026

RATAE Runs have been organised by South Leicestershire MG Club since 1994, each time with proceeds going to that years chosen charity. This year’s RATAE Run is taking place on Sunday 14th June, starting with breakfast and a hot drink at The White Horse in Broughton Astley. There will be a coffee stop part way to the destination of Burghley House and Gardens, situated near Stamford in Lincolnshire

This event is open to all classics old and modern, regardless of manufacturer. Last years charity was the Leicester Musical Memory Box, who help people with dementia. The entrants to the 2025 Ratae run raised £2500 – a fantastic acheivement – and enjoyed a fabulous day out in the process!

This years charity is LOROS – they provide care for terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers across Leicestershire & Rutland.

Burghley House

Made up of Burghley House, farmland, woodland, and a significant property portfolio, the Estate covers an array of residential, agricultural and commercial properties including hotels, pubs and offices with additional quarries, gardens and allotments as well as the rights to sporting activities. The work of the Estate encompasses the maintenance, management and restoration of this wide variety of property which includes many interesting and historic buildings.
The Estate is centred in the beautiful market town of Stamford in Lincolnshire and spreads to the outlying villages of Pilsgate, Barnack, Collyweston, Easton on the Hill, Barrowden, Wakerley and Morcott, where properties are readily available to let.

Ratae will return in 2027 – at Coughton Court & Gardens – 13th June.
